Works of Art artist George Neuberger created the Deer Hunter pen with a hand turned epoxy body of the WTFCAMO design exclusively for WhiteTail Forensics.   George first wraps the barrel of the pen body with the camo design, then casts the barrel in a rectangle epoxy mold. The casting is then turned on a lathe, wet sand.

The casting is then turned on a lathe, wet sanded to 12,000 grit, and finally polished to a glass like finish This is without a doubt one of the finest pens a deer-hunting enthusiast could hope to receive as a gift. The lower barrel features a relief cut engraving of a trophy buck that emulates the engraved scrollwork found on genuine, highly sought-after bolt-action rifles. The antiqued plating provides contrast for better visibility of the details. At the other end, a deer mount pen clip with a scope at the tip of the clip rounds out the deer hunting theme. The bolt-action mechanism is both functional and  unique. The antique finish is formulated to simulate a time-worn authentic patina with a charm all its own, adding a sense of warmth and history to your handmade writing instrument. The pen is delivered in a laser engraved wooden case with the WhiteTail Forensics logo on the top and George's signature on the bottom.   These pens are meant to be working pieces of art that utilize standard Parker cartridge refills.
